Lab of modeling and programming

Laboratory of Programming and Modeling provides coordination and interdisciplinary science researches, teaching and consultations in spheres of Programming Digital Chips (FPGA, microcontrollers), Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and modeling physical processes. Laboratory activities aimed at realisation of researches in information, control, navigation systems and researches in light-guided photonics.

Студенческие проекты, реализованные в рамках деятельности лаборатории:

Vector Network Analyzer based on DE10-Nano. This device allows to measure amplitude and phase responses in a wide frequency band, it also can measure S11 parameter. In future, the ability to measure S21 will be added. This project was developed by students for InnovateFPGA  2018 contest.

Implementation of particles detection and calculation of their geometric parameters algorithm for analysis of materials. The project was developed for InnovateEurope 2017 contest by students.

Implementation of Blind Signal Separation (BSS) algorithm in real-time using FPGA. This algorithm is a system which separates signals in a mix, which it gets from a massive of microphones. Parallel work with interfaces, signal processing and small package is main requirements, that's why FPGA is perfect solution. Project was developed for Innovate Europe 2016 by students.

 
Algorithm of Edge detection in real-time using FPGA. This algorithm has wide applicaitons in the tasks of computer vision, so increasing speed of this algorithm is very useful.During this project, students implemented Hough transform to detect edges. Project was developed for Innovate Europe 2016 by students.
